eBay is the well-known website specialized in online auction and shopping. They also have a mobile app that allows you to do the same things that can be done on the official website; you can search all kinds of items even second–hand ones, follow auctions, and receive notifications, and for sure, buy and sell all types of merchandise like Clothes & Fashion, Home & Garden, Electronics & Gadgets, Collectibles & Art , Cars & Motorcycles, and much more…

Create an eBay Account
Using the eBay website is pretty straightforward, and the eBay app has a simple and intuitive interface with three main buttons: My eBay, to access all the auctions and goods you’re following and your account information; Categories, to search for nearly any kind of goods, plus you can filter your search to very precise categories; and Sell, where you can manage the goods you are selling, add and edit pictures, descriptions, auctions that other users are following, etc.

eBay has arrived to the 21st century and the new version of eBay for Android and iOS has been launched with a total makeover and plenty of new features for all the actions that can be done there. Of course, if you want to use the eBay website or mobile app, you first need to create an eBay account.

Create an eBay account

If you just want to use your eBay account online on your computer, just go to ebay.com and click on the “Register” link at the top of the screen near the left-hand corner. If you want to use the new and improved eBay mobile app, download the application to your device in the normal way, and after the download is complete, tap the icon to open the app.

You’ll find the registration page, where you’ll need to enter your name & email address, choose an eBay user ID that will always be used to log in, pick a secure password (remember, you’ll be linking a payment method to your eBay account, so you definitely don’t want it getting hacked because you picked a weak password), and provide your contact information. Then, click or tap “Submit” to agree to eBay’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

That’s it, you’re all done! You may be asked to provide some more information when you start working on eBay (bank account or credit card information, etc).

After creating and setting up your account on eBay, your personal information won’t be shared without your approval. Also, your user ID is your unique eBay user name, which you’ll use to log in and other eBay members will see it, so make it something distinctive (and something you don’t mind the whole world seeing).
